The Everglades Half-Day Canoe Safari gives the beginner the chance to view the Noosa Everglades from the tranquility of a canoe. Arrive at Elanda Point before 9.00am to meet your guide at the office. Transport can be arranged to and from Noosa-Tewantin and Elanda Point. After a pre-tour briefing with your guide and fellow canoeists it's into the speedboat for your trip across Lake Cootharaba to the National Park's Kinaba Information Centre. Then it's on with your buoyancy vest and into your canoe for your paddle through the everglades.
All the time your guide will give you support and instructions. After
morning tea it's time to canoe back to Kinaba. From there
the speedboat will take you back to Elanda arriving there at 12.30pm.
