Adventure Program

Adventure Canoe To the Kabi Aboriginal Tribe, the original inhabitants of the Noosa Area, the soft sounds of the breeze whispering in the dune cypress trees crooned a low mournful wail, which inspired the aboriginal name Cooloola.
Today the name applies to the Cooloola Section of the Great Sandy National Park. Elanda Point Canoe Company Plus is the base for all adventures in the Cooloola. The Elanda Point Canoe and Motor Boat Company hires canoes and motor boats, and provides watertaxi & landcruiser taxi transport, equipment and guides throughout the Cooloola at Elanda Point, Kinaba Information Center, Harry's Hut and Teewah Creek. Since 1975 Elanda Point has developed a program of exciting adventures (ADV) and people come from all over Australia and the world to join them in their enjoyment of the Cooloola wilderness. These adventures are positioned on the Adventure Map
